Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.

Linearity
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of rat RUNX2 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

Description

The Rat Runt-related transcription factor 2 (RUNX2) ELISA kit is a powerful tool for the quantitative measurement of RUNX2 protein levels in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and cell lysates of Rattus norvegicus (Rat) samples.

RUNX2, also known as CBFA1, is a transcription factor that plays a critical role in bone development and remodeling, signal pathway. Our ELISA kit is specifically designed for the measurement of RUNX2 protein levels, making it an ideal tool for studying the molecular mechanisms underlying bone formation and skeletal disorders in rats.

With a detection range of 3.12 ng/mL to 200 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.78 ng/mL, our RUNX2 ELISA kit offers exceptional accuracy and precision in measuring protein levels. The assay time is only 1-5 hours, and the sample volume required is just 50-100ul. The detection wavelength is 450 nm, and the assay principle is quantitative, utilizing a sandwich method for precise measurements.

Our RUNX2 ELISA kit is suitable for researchers studying epigenetics and nuclear signaling in the context of bone development and disease. It is user-friendly and easy to use, providing reliable results for the research applications.

Target Background

Function
(From Uniprot)
Transcription factor involved in osteoblastic differentiation and skeletal morphogenesis. Essential for the maturation of osteoblasts and both intramembranous and endochondral ossification. CBF binds to the core site, 5'-PYGPYGGT-3', of a number of enhancers and promoters, including murine leukemia virus, polyomavirus enhancer, T-cell receptor enhancers, osteocalcin, osteopontin, bone sialoprotein, alpha 1(I) collagen, LCK, IL-3 and GM-CSF promoters. Inhibits KAT6B-dependent transcriptional activation. In osteoblasts, supports transcription activation: synergizes with SPEN/MINT to enhance FGFR2-mediated activation of the osteocalcin FGF-responsive element (OCFRE).
