The RBP4 monoclonal antibody is raised in a mouse and specifically recognizes human and mouse RBP4. It is a high-quality reagent that has been extensively validated for use in ELISA, WB, and IHC applications. The RBP4 antibody was generated using recombinant human RBP4 protein as the immunogen and purified using protein G affinity chromatography to ensure high purity (>95%). This antibody is an IgG1 isotype.
The RBP4 protein is a transporter of vitamin A in the blood and plays a crucial role in regulating vitamin A homeostasis. Increased levels of RBP4 have been associated with insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, and metabolic syndrome.
