Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition

Description

IL1RAPL1 functions as a synaptic organizer in excitatory neurons, where its interaction with presynaptic PTPRD drives trans-synaptic signaling critical for cognitive development. This mammalian-expressed construct spanning residues 19–357 captures the extracellular immunoglobulin domains responsible for PTPRD recognition and demonstrates quantifiable binding activity with an EC50 of 2.645–3.098 ng/mL in functional ELISA, providing a validated reagent for ligand-receptor interaction studies by ELISA, surface plasmon resonance, or bio-layer interferometry. The C-terminal hFc1 tag facilitates immobilization and detection in competitive inhibition assays, therapeutic antibody epitope mapping, and blocking antibody screening workflows aimed at modulating synaptic adhesion pathways. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE and endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg align with standards expected in binding affinity characterization and small-molecule inhibitor screening for neurodevelopmental disorder research.

May regulate secretion and presynaptic differentiation through inhibition of the activity of N-type voltage-gated calcium channel. May activate the MAP kinase JNK. Plays a role in neurite outgrowth.
