Target Background

Function

Required for the assembly of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I). May deliver of one or more Fe-S clusters to complex I subunits.

huInd1 binds to the untranslated region of the TEM-1 mRNA at 3' site and thereby reducing the possibility of its endonucleolytic cleavage, resulting in over-expression of TEM-1. PMID: 25240856
