Description

CUSABIO generates the TMEM9 antibody by immunizing rabbits with the recombinant human TMEM9 (111-183AA). The resulting antibody is a polyclonal antibody and occurs as an unconjugated IgG. It is purified by protein G and reaches up to 95% in purity. And it is only reactive with human TMEM9 protein, which facilitates v-ATPase (vacuolar adenosine triphosphatase) assembly for vesicular acidification and lysosomal protein degradation. Studies have shown that TMEM9 hyperactivates Wnt signaling for liver regeneration and tumorigenesis through lysosomal degradation of APC. This TMEM9 antibody is suitable for the detection of the TMEM9 protein in ELISA and IHC analyses.

Transmembrane protein that binds to and facilitates the assembly of lysosomal proton-transporting V-type ATPase (v-ATPase), resulting in enhanced lysosomal acidification and trafficking. By bringing the v-ATPase accessory protein ATP6AP2 and the v-ATPase subunit ATP6V0D1 together, allows v-ATPase complex formation and activation. TMEM9-controlled vesicular acidification induces hyperactivation of Wnt/beta-catenin signaling, involved in development, tissue homeostasis and tissue regeneration, through lysosomal degradation of adenomatous polyposis coli/APC. In the liver, involved in hepatic regeneration.
