Description
VP1 polyclonal antibody CSB-PA859915LA01CID was produced in the rabbit immunized by using the Recombinant Chicken anemia virus Capsid protein (288-369AA) as the immunogen. The target protein VP1 can self-assembles to form the virion icosahedral capsid with a T=1 symmetry. This very small capsid (25 nm in diameter) allows the virus to be very stable in the environment and resistant to some disinfectants, including detergents. Moreover, this protein is essential for the initial attachment to host receptors.
This Rabbit anti-Chicken anemia virus VP1 Polyclonal antibody was tested in the ELISA and WB applications. The non-conjugated IgG got purified by protein G and reached up to 95% in purity. It reacts with the VP1 proteins of chicken or anemia virus-origin and may be used to detect the endogenous levels of VP1 protein.
