Description

The fliC polyclonal antibody is generated by immunizing a rabbit with a recombinant Salmonella paratyphi A fliC protein (1-495aa). The serum is collected from the rabbit to obtain polyclonal antibodies, which are purified through protein G affinity chromatography. The efficacy of the fliC antibody in detecting Salmonella paratyphi A fliC protein is confirmed through ELISA and WB assays.

The Salmonella paratyphi A flagellin (fliC) protein is a component of the bacterial flagellum, providing the necessary rigidity and flexibility for the flagellum to move in response to chemical signals or other stimuli. It plays a key role in the bacterium's motility. The flagellin protein, along with other virulence factors, contributes to the bacterium's ability to colonize and cause disease in the human host.
