ftsZ polyclonal antibody CSB-PA343512LA01WAP was produced in the rabbit immunized by using the Recombinant Wolbachia pipientis Cell division protein FtsZ protein (1-315AA) as the immunogen. The target protein ftsZ is an essential cell division protein that forms a contractile ring structure (Z ring) at the future cell division site. The regulation of the ring assembly controls the timing and the location of cell division. It also can bind GTP and shows GTPase activity.
This Rabbit anti-Wolbachia pipientis ftsZ Polyclonal antibody was tested in the ELISA and WB applications. The non-conjugated IgG got purified by protein G and reached up to 95% in purity. It only reacts with the ftsZ proteins of Wolbachia pipientis-origin and may be used to detect the endogenous levels of ftsZ protein.
