Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Has ribonuclease activity (in vitro). Seems to lack angiogenic activity.
Gene References into Functions
  1. High ANG2 expression is associated with Acute respiratory distress syndrome. PMID: 30171880
  2. dual inhibition of VEGFR/Ang-2 prolongs survival in preclinical GBM models by reducing tumor burden, improving normalization, and altering TAMs PMID: 27044097
  3. Ang2 and TNF are essential and synergistic drivers of remodeling of blood vessels and lymphatics during the initial stage of inflammation after infection. Inhibition of Ang2 and TNF together results in widespread suppression of the inflammatory response. PMID: 26348576
  4. These findings implicate YAP as a critical regulator in angiogenesis and provide new insights into the mechanism coordinating junctional stability and angiogenic activation of endothelial cells. PMID: 25962877
  5. Sonic hedgehog secreted by neurons regulates ang-1 and ang-2 expression in neighboring fibroblasts. PMID: 24807580
  6. Ang-2-VEGF-A CrossMab treatment led to a strong inhibition of angiogenesis and an enhanced vessel maturation phenotype PMID: 24097868
  7. Ang2 is secreted from endothelial cells via exosomes and that this process is inhibited by the PI3K/Akt1/endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) signaling pathway. PMID: 24235146
  8. The crystal structures of two more murine Ang paralogues, mAng-2 and mAng-3 reveal homology with the human homologues. PMID: 23170778
  9. Data show that S100a9, Mmp10 and Ang2 were among the most downregulated genes, whereas Per3, Tef and Prdx6 were significantly upregulated in the DMH + Calcium group. PMID: 21857934
  10. ANG2-TIE2 axis mediates cell-to-cell interactions between TIE2-expressing macrophages (TEMs)and endothelial cells that are important for tumor angiogenesis and can be targeted to induce effective antitumor responses. PMID: 21481792
  11. FoxC2 and Ang2 are novel targets of Prox1 in mouse embryonic-stem-cell-derived endothelial cells. PMID: 19825936
  12. Ang-2 may target chemotactic responses to bFGF and VEGF in vivo PMID: 15501235
  13. focal VEGF and angiopoietin-2 hyperstimulation in the mouse brain increases MMP-9 activity and decreases ZO-1 protein PMID: 15947259
  14. deregulated Ang2 expression during gliomagenesis hinders successful angiogenesis PMID: 16790091
  15. Demonstrate that disturbed ang-2/Tie-2 signaling contributes to the hyperglycemic exacerbation of myocardial infarction and impaired angiogenesis. PMID: 18408125
  16. In endothelial cells, endothelial NOS activation per se inhibited LDL oxidation and Ang-2 stimulated NO release in a Tie2-dependent manner to decrease LDL oxidation. PMID: 19461044
  17. Improved methods are presented for substantially increased production of mAngrp in a bacterial expression system and for refolding and purification of the protein from inclusion bodies. PMID: 11437607
