Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition Store at -20°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

I have another protein question for you.I would like to know if it is necessary to remove the His tag from this protein prior to their experiment.Is there a standard protocol for tag removal that your laboratory would recommend?

1. This protein is N-terminal 6xHis-tagged. This tag is very small which will not affect your experiment in theory. If your want to remove the tag, they could try, and we have successfully remove the tag from this protein before.
2. Thrombin cleavage site has been added between the tag and the target protein when this protein was designed, you can choose thrombin for cleavage.
3. You could purchase thrombin and remove the tag according to product operation instructions.

Function Bactericidal C-type lectin which acts exclusively against Gram-positive bacteria and mediates bacterial killing by binding to surface-exposed carbohydrate moieties of peptidoglycan.
