Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Involved in the maintenance and repair of the intestinal mucosa. Promotes the mobility of epithelial cells in healing processes (motogen).
Gene References into Functions
  1. Tff3 deficiency affects the profile and accumulation of fatty acids in the liver, with no obvious oxidative stress increase, although expression/activity of monitored enzymes is changed as well as the level of SIRT1 and PPARgamma protein. PMID: 29807366
  2. The presence and localization of TFF3 peptide was associated with the embryonic stage and tissue differentiation PMID: 28485250
  3. These studies reveal a new link between hepatic GALE activity and whole-body glucose homeostasis via regulation of hepatic Tff3 expression. PMID: 28877911
  4. Giardia co-infection promotes the secretion of antimicrobial peptides beta-defensin 2 and trefoil factor 3 and attenuates attaching and effacing bacteria-induced intestinal disease.( PMID: 28622393
  5. TFF3 is regulated by food intake, improves glucose tolerance and induces mucinous metaplasia. PMID: 26083576
  6. The TFF3 was present in cartilage chondrocytes undergoing endochondral ossification, particularly in zone of proliferation, hypertrophy and calcification as well as in zone of cartilage degeneration during the monitored fetal period. PMID: 22818426
  7. Intravenous administration of recombinant TFF3 reversed changes in cerebral injury. PMID: 24204940
  8. Tff3 peptides are involved in glucose homeostasis and insulin sensitivity, providing a promising peptide on new therapies against the metabolic disorders associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus. PMID: 24086476
  9. Tff3 knock out mice have lower body weight than wild-type mice. PMID: 21289491
  10. Soy protein diet, but not Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, decreases mucin-1, trefoil factor-3, and tumor necrosis factor-alpha in colon of dextran sodium sulfate-induced colitis. PMID: 21593350
  11. results suggest that a diminution of the intestinal trefoil factor system may be involved in the acceleration of aging in SAM-P6 mice PMID: 20622466
  12. Loss of the barrier protective molecule TFF3 leads to a profound increase in susceptibility to DSS-induced colitis, and this can be abrogated by reducing Fuc-TVII-dependent leukocyte recruitment. PMID: 20299601
  13. TFF3 overexpression may be a critical process in mouse and human hepatocellular carcinogenesis PMID: 15645121
  14. the expression of mucins 1 to 4 and trefoil factor 3 was down-regulated in the ileum and colon of conventional and reconventionalized mice compared with germ-free animals PMID: 18035521
