The Avi tag is a small peptide tag widely used for the detection, purification, and biochemical characterization of recombinant proteins through highly specific antibody recognition. This Mouse IgG2a Avi-Tag monoclonal antibody (Code: CSB-MA000101M0m) is generated against a synthetic peptide, supplied in a non-conjugated liquid format, and purified to >95% by Protein G, ensuring excellent purity, high target specificity, and reliable batch-to-batch consistency for reproducible experimental performance. As a dedicated tag antibody, it provides dependable recognition of Avi-tagged recombinant proteins expressed in both bacterial and mammalian systems without dependence on target protein identity. Validation data demonstrate specific WB detection of multiple Avi-tagged recombinant proteins (including E.coli and Mammalian origin) with observed molecular weights matching the predicted sizes. Clear immunoreactive bands are obtained using antibody dilutions ranging from 1:1000 to 1:640000, with detectable signals from recombinant protein inputs as low as 3.125 ng. Immunoprecipitation experiments further show efficient enrichment of Avi-tagged proteins from transfected 293F cell lysates, while the control IgG lane shows no comparable enrichment, supporting the antibody's specificity for affinity isolation. Validated for ELISA, WB, and IP, this antibody is an ideal tool for recombinant protein expression analysis, affinity purification, protein interaction studies, and routine AviTag-based molecular research workflows.
