Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition

CCL9 (MIP-1γ) plays a distinctive role in myeloid cell recruitment and tissue homeostasis, making it a key tool for dissecting chemokine-driven immune cell trafficking in murine models. This tag-free recombinant protein encompasses the full-length mature sequence (residues 22–122) and demonstrates potent chemotactic activity on human neutrophils at 0.1–10 ng/ml, providing a suitable basis for Transwell migration assays, MAPK and NF-κB signaling pathway studies, and in vivo inflammation or tumor biology models requiring precise leukocyte recruitment. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts that can confound cytokine-specific readouts in sensitive immune cell functional assays, while purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE supports use as a reliable reference standard in cytokine detection assays or as a coating antigen for antibody development and ELISA validation. The E. coli-derived, untagged format ensures that observed biological responses reflect native CCL9 signaling without interference from fusion partners.

Monokine with inflammatory, pyrogenic and chemokinetic properties. Circulates at high concentrations in the blood of healthy animals. Binding to a high-affinity receptor activates calcium release in neutrophils. It also inhibits colony formation of bone marrow myeloid immature progenitors.
