Target Background

Function

Has deubiquitinating activity towards 'Lys-48'- and 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains. Deubiquitinates 'Lys-48'-linked polyubiquitination of RPS7 leading to its stabilization.

Gene References into Functions

The PPPDE1 could mediate the ubiquitin chain editing of RPS7, deubiquitinating Lys 48-linked ubiquitination, and finally stabilize RPS7 proteins. PMID: 28483520
