Target Background

Function
Phosphatase with broad substrate specificity. A truncated (soluble) version of the protein is responsible for the production of (E,E)-farnesol from (E,E)-farnesyl diphosphate. Acts as a fructose-2,6-bisphosphate 6-phosphatase.
