Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of human APRIL in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

This ELISA kit provides quantitative measurement of human TNFSF13 (APRIL/A Proliferation-Inducing Ligand) in biological samples, supporting research into B cell biology, humoral immunity, and inflammatory disease. Because APRIL is a secreted cytokine whose circulating levels shift modestly between health and disease — and may be present at low concentrations in mucosal or in vitro systems — precise detection across a defined dynamic window is essential.
Detection Range: The 7.8–500 pg/mL range aligns with reported serum APRIL concentrations in healthy individuals and the elevated levels observed in autoimmune and lymphoproliferative conditions, minimizing the need for extensive sample dilution while capturing disease-relevant shifts.
Sensitivity: At 3.9 pg/mL, the kit detects APRIL in low-abundance matrices such as saliva and conditioned media from stimulated B cells or dendritic cell co-cultures, where secreted levels may fall well below circulating concentrations.
Sample Compatibility: Validation across serum, plasma, saliva, and cell culture supernatants enables researchers to correlate systemic APRIL levels with mucosal immunity or dissect APRIL secretion kinetics in vitro within a single assay platform.
Assay Efficiency: Requiring only 50–100 µL per well and completable in 1–5 hours, the kit accommodates limited-volume clinical specimens and time-sensitive experiments involving primary human B cell or myeloid cell cultures.
This kit is directly applicable to studies of IgA nephropathy, systemic lupus erythematosus, and B cell lymphoma tumor microenvironments.
