Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of mouse IL-17 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

This ELISA kit provides quantitative measurement of interleukin-17 (IL-17) in mouse samples, supporting research into Th17-driven immune responses and inflammatory pathology. Because IL-17 levels can vary dramatically between baseline conditions and active inflammation — and across compartments such as circulation versus local tissue microenvironments — this kit is designed to accommodate diverse sampling strategies within a single assay platform.
Detection Range: The 10.938–700 pg/mL range spans the concentrations typically observed in mouse serum during both steady-state and inflammatory conditions such as EAE, collagen-induced arthritis, or DSS colitis, where circulating IL-17 can rise substantially. Most samples will fall within range without dilution, though supernatants from strongly stimulated Th17 cultures may require pre-dilution.
Sensitivity: At 5.469 pg/mL, the kit detects IL-17 in low-abundance contexts such as naïve mouse serum, early-phase autoimmune models, or conditioned media from suboptimally polarized T cell cultures where cytokine output is minimal.
Sample Compatibility: Validation across serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, and tissue homogenates enables researchers to correlate systemic IL-17 levels with local tissue production and in vitro Th17 polarization outcomes within a single experimental framework.
Assay Efficiency: A key advantage of this mini sample kit is its reduced sample loading volume requirement of only 50 µL (which can be further reduced to 25 µL, diluted by 2 times), making it ideal for studies where sample availability is limited—an important improvement over conventional ELISA kits that often demand larger sample volumes. The 50 µL sample volume and 3.5-hour protocol accommodate limited-volume samples from mouse bleeds or sorted Th17 cell cultures while supporting same-day data acquisition.
This kit is directly applicable to studies of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis, inflammatory bowel disease models, and anti-fungal mucosal immunity.
