Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Description

IL-17A drives proinflammatory signaling through NF-κB and MAPK pathways, making it a critical target in autoimmune and inflammatory research. This recombinant mouse IL-17A (residues 22–158, C-terminal 6xHis-tagged) demonstrates strong signaling potency with an ED50 of 0.25–1.25 ng/mL in IL-6 induction assays using NIH-3T3 fibroblasts, confirming its suitability for cell-based functional studies including downstream pathway activation and differentiation experiments. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg ensure that NF-κB or MAPK signaling readouts reflect genuine IL-17A activity rather than LPS-driven artifacts, which supports use in sensitive immune cell assays and in vivo mouse models of inflammation.
