The KRT19 monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing mice with human Cyfra21-1 (KS19.1) protein, followed by the isolation of B cells from the immunized mice spleens and the fusion of these B cells with myeloma cells to generate hybridomas. The hybridomas are then screened to select those that produce the KRT19 monoclonal antibody. The selected hybridomas are cultured in a mouse abdominal cavity to generate a large quantity of the KRT19 monoclonal antibody. The specificity of the KRT19 monoclonal antibody is confirmed by its ability to react with human KRT19 protein in three applications ELISA, WB, and IHC. It is purified using protein G affinity chromatography, resulting in a purity of over 95%.
KRT19 mainly functions to provide structural support to epithelial cells and tissues, contributing to their integrity and resilience. KRT19 plays a role in cell signaling and is involved in regulating cell proliferation and differentiation, as well as protecting cells from oxidative stress.
