Description

The DNAJB8 antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with the recombinant human DNAJB8 protein (1-232AA) and then antigen-affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum. It occurs as an unconjugated IgG. It shows reactivity with human and mouse DNAJB8 protein, which plays a role in the suppression of toxic polyglutamine (poly Q) protein aggregation and in vivo tumor initiation. This DNAJB8 antibody has been validated for use in ELISA, WB, and IHC applications.

Results show that DNAJB8 expression is induced by heat shock stress which increases side population cells and cancer stem-like cells. PMID: 29316077
