Description

Production of the Ugandan cassava brown streak virus polyclonal antibody involves immunizing a rabbit with recombinant Ugandan cassava brown streak virus polyprotein (amino acids 2368-2380). To boost antibody production, a subsequent antigen injection is administered to the rabbit. Serum containing Ugandan cassava brown streak virus polyclonal antibodies is collected and then purified via protein G. The polyprotein antibody's specificity for Ugandan cassava brown streak virus polyprotein has been extensively validated through ELISA and WB assays.
