Recombinant Escherichia phage MS2 Capsid protein is a high-quality product specifically designed for researchers studying bacteriophages and related fields. The Capsid protein (CP; Coat protein) originates from Escherichia phage MS2 and is expressed in E. coli, providing a full-length mature protein with an expression region covering 2-130aa.
Featuring both N-terminal 10xHis-tagged and C-terminal Myc-tagged constructs, this recombinant protein offers seamless detection and purification processes. With a purity of greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE, the Escherichia phage MS2 Capsid protein is provided in the form of lyophilized powder, ensuring a dependable and effective product for your research needs.

Please can you provide sequence, pricing, availability and tag information for all available sizes of all available expression hosts?
I am most concerned about the tag information. I ask about the tagged forms available for this protein. I would prefer a protein fused to maltose binding protein or a GST tagged protein are better. Do you have any of these products available?
Does your recombinant MS2 Capsid protein (CSB-EP365998ECZ) bind to the MS2 hairpin loop?
We haven't done related test. We are not sure if it can bind to the MS2 hairpin loop or not.
Do you cleave the tags used for purification on product CSB-EP365998ECZ
No, we haven't cleaved N-terminal 10xHis-tagged on CSB-EP365998ECZ. We can try enzyme digestion to remove it, but we can't guarantee 100% successfully. The overall success rate of enzyme digestion data analysis is 75%-86%.
If we succeed in removing the tag, we will charge for extra cost $83 for ≤1mg
