Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition

Description

Amino acids 23-493 constitute the expression domain of recombinant Human ANGPTL2. The calculated molecular weight for this ANGPTL2 protein is 70.8 kDa. This protein is generated in a e.coli-based system. The N-terminal 6xHis-SUMO tag was fused into the coding gene segment of ANGPTL2, making it easier to detect and purify the ANGPTL2 recombinant protein in the later stages of expression and purification.

The human angiopoietin-related protein 2 (ANGPTL2) is a secreted glycoprotein belonging to the angiopoietin-like protein family and plays diverse roles in various physiological and pathological processes. It is involved in inflammation, angiogenesis, and metabolism regulation. ANGPTL2 is secreted from adipose tissue, activated macrophages, and endothelial cells. It contributes to the modulation of immune responses, cell migration, and tissue remodeling. Dysregulation of ANGPTL2 has been associated with chronic inflammatory diseases, cardiovascular disorders, and cancer.
