The expression region of this recombinant Human DENR covers amino acids 2-198. The expected molecular weight for the DENR protein is calculated to be 38 kDa. The DENR protein was expressed in e.coli. The DENR gene fragment has been modified by fusing the N-terminal 6xHis-SUMO tag, providing convenience in detecting and purifying the recombinant DENR protein during the following stages.
Human density-regulated protein (DENR) is a conserved protein crucial for regulating translation. It plays a crucial role in the initiation and progression of protein synthesis. During translation, DENR forms a stable heterodimer with malignant T-cell-amplified sequence 1 (MCT-1), interacting with the 40S ribosomal subunit throughout initiation, reinitiation, and recycling stages. DENR, along with the oncoprotein MCT-1/MCTS1, supports unconventional translation initiation, facilitates translation reinitiation on specific mRNAs featuring short upstream reading frames, and plays a regulatory role in ribosome recycling. There are currently no reviews for this product.
