Storage Condition	Store at -20°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life	The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself. Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.

We are having some issues with the MAGEA1 protein delivered recently (CSB-EP013323HU). We have tested it on WB using a panel of antibodies and immune sera and did not see any band at the expected molecular weight. There is a slight band visible when using an anti-His antibody, however, it does not correspond to the width/intensity of the Ponceau-stained band (Ponceau being much less sensitive than WB). In MS MAGEA1 peptides could be detected, however, a multitude of other unrelated peptides were identified as well. I am wondering if the protein Cusabio have purified really is MAGEA1. The first time the protein did not pass your internal QC which points to some issues with it.
Could you please confirm how you QC your proteins? Is it done only by Coomassie stain or is WB applied too? Also, please check your lot again for MAGEA1 and its concentration (not whole protein concentration). For our application it is very important that we use pure protein and the lot which was sent recently does not seem to be suitable

We have some questions as follows:
1) Did you perform positive identification? If you do not, or if the titer is too low, target protein could not be detected.
2) Did you use these commercial antibodies(ab25834 and ab19330) to test other positive samples?
3) Similar size band was detected in the cell lysate by the commercial antibody ab227664 that was used. But you didn't use this antibody to detect our protein, we suggest you to try to do WB test.

Could you please provide the WB result or image of His antibody?
3. We usually use SDS-PAGE, WB and MS for QC procedure.
1) Purity is tested by SDS-PAGE, standard purity is over 85%. It meets our standard of QC.
2) Concentration is tested by Bradford. What we test is total concentration, it is 1mg/ml for this protein. See attached the concentration test report.
3) We could provdie WB test for free, but only when customer requests. We generally do the tag antibody WB test, as well as the specific antibody if we have. The immunogen is Recombinant full length protein corresponding to Human MAGE 1, (expression region is aa 1-309, tag information is GST tag. Only tag information is different.)
For this protein, we didn’t do WB test, because it was not required. Now we will arrange the test for specific antibody, and meanwhile arrange the WB test for his tag antibody, we will let you know the result.

It is normal for you to get other bands, because MS is a qunlitative test, impure protein and mycoplasma self protein could also be detected. We also arrange MS identification for this protein, we will get MS result in , and let you know the result.
In addition, considering you also ordered 5mg of Yeast protein, we arrange the WB test by tag antibody and specific antibody, and show the results in the CoA report.
