Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
3-7 business days
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

 Q&A
Q:

Regarding CSB-EP892322HU (all expression systems), I would like to know if in liquid form (Tris-based buffer, 50% glycerol) if this product is soluble in cell culture medium or is it lyophilic?
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

A:
Thanks for your inquiry. Sorry, these are semi-customized proteins that we haven't expressed before. Regarding this protein, we provide the soluble expression for Yeast, Baculovirus and Mammalian cell expression systems,
as for the E.coli expression system, we will try our best to optimize the condition to ensure soluble expression, If it is expressed in inclusion bodies, it will be renatured, and eventually gunaratee we will provide soluble proteins.
So we can guarantee that all of the proteins will be provided in soluble form. As for the lyophilic, we have used the software (https://web.expasy.org/protparam/) to predict, the result is -0.134, it should be lyophilic.
Q:

We would like to know the instructions for solubilizing the protein? If you have this information.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

A:
Thanks for your inquiry. As for the the instructions for solubilizing the protein, we may try a series of conditions to optimize the expression, such as optimizing the codon, the vector, the culture temperature, the incubation time, the concentration of the inducer, etc., try to do the soluble expression but not 100% guarantee, if it is an inclusion body expression, it will be renatured and we can guarantee that we will eventually provide soluble protein.

Target Background

Function
Involved in both glial cell differentiation and axonal network formation during neurogenesis. Promotes astrocyte differentiation and transforms cerebellar astrocytes into radial glia. Also induces axonal extension in small and intermediate neurons of sensory ganglia by activating nearby satellite glia.
