Form Liquid or Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer If the delivery form is liquid, the default storage buffer is Tris/PBS-based buffer, 5%-50% glycerol.
Note: If you have any special requirement for the glycerol content, please remark when you place the order.
If the delivery form is lyophilized powder, the buffer before lyophilization is Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0.
Reconstitution We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
and FAQs
Protein FAQs
Storage Condition Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time 3-7 business days
Notes Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

According to the expression system above, this is the partial protein (24-590aa). I would like the full-length sequence from 1-590aa. Do you have this protein? Or is the sequence 1-23aa just the signal sequence and the protein above is the mature full-length form (so not partial)? Can you please clarify. If you have the full-length protein 1-590aa, can you please provide pricing for all expression systems, tag info, sequence, etc.

Thanks for your inquiry. The 1-23aa is mitochondrial transit peiptide, and the 24-590aa is the full length of the mature protein.

We are looking for functionally active recombinant human ME3 for an enzyme assay. Kindly confirm suitability of your product for the same. Also share specific activity of the protein if you have tested.

Thanks for your inquiry.
We haven't tested the activity of this protein yet so we can't provide activity data currently.
We could provide you 10ug of Free Sample, in the condition that you share their result with us after activity test.
You don't need to provide us the raw data, just tell us the activity testing method (substrate and ligand used), result (Active/ Inactive), and published literature link.

Target Background

Gene References into Functions
  1. ATP inhibition is proposed to be determined by the electrostatic potential involving the positive charge on the side chain of Lys346 PMID: 18959763
  2. Studies demonstrate that the Lys57 residue plays dual functional roles in the structural integrity of the allosteric site and in the subunit-subunit interaction at the dimer interface of m-NAD(P)-ME. PMID: 19236308
  3. human c-NADP-ME exists mainly as a tetramer, whereas human m-NAD(P)-ME exists as a mixture of dimers and tetramers PMID: 19416979
Subcellular Location Mitochondrion matrix.
Protein Families Malic enzymes family
Tissue Specificity Expressed predominantly in organs with a low-division rate.
