Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Basically, we can dispatch the products out in 1-3 working days after receiving your orders. Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Description

Recombinant Human PNMA2 Protein is encoded by PNMA2 gene — recombinant PNMA2 DNA — that has integrated foreign plasmids into the Yeast genome, the foreign DNA is replicated along with the host DNA. In addition, the expression of foreign proteins requires the use of specialized expression vectors and often necessitates the significant restructuring of the foreign coding sequence. The subsequent expression process includes small-scale expression, protein identification, large-scale expression, and protein purification. The purity of this recombinant PNMA2 is 90%+.

IPNMA2 (also known as MA2) is a gene that encodes a protein named the paraneoplastic antigen Ma2 belonging to the human PNMA family. The protein encoded by this gene is also known as 40 kDa neuronal protein, onconeuronal antigen Ma2 and paraneoplastic neuronal antigen MM2. Paraneoplastic antigens are normally expressed only in neuronal tissues. emerging evidence has implied that paraneoplastic antigen Ma2 autoantibodies can be detected in early recurrence of small intestine neuroendocrine tumors as specific blood biomarkers.
