Buffer
Tris-based buffer,50% glycerol
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Basically, we can dispatch the products out in 1-3 working days after receiving your orders. Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

 Q&A
Q:

I'm interested in CSB-EP023106HU and I would like endotoxin removal and aseptic processing, but are unsure if this will affect concentration? Will it affect the concentration?

A:
Thanks for your inquiry.
Yes, the endotoxin removal and aseptic processing operations may affect concentration. The concentration of some proteins probably will be lower after processing,
What will you use this protein for ? Does your experiment has very strict requirement on the concentration ? If yes, pls let us know in adavnce, We can try to meet your requirement for the concentration.
Q:

The assay instructions suggest that the test protein should be at the highest possible concentration (preferably >20 mM). Will this be possible?

A:
According to your requirement for highest possible concentration (preferably >20 mM), as the tag of this protein hasn't been confirmed,so the accurate concentration can't be determined, but the converted concentration range is 0.5-1.0mg/ml.
Generally, the protein concentration of each batch won't be exactly the same but we could guarantee 0.1-2.0mg/ml concentration for E. coli and Yeast, and 0.1-0.5mg/ml for Baculovirus and Mammalian cell, which means we can meet your requirement for the concentration.
If you decide to order E. coli protein, remark the concentration >1mg/ml when placing the order.
Q:

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are optimizing the biochemical assay that we will be using the protein for and recently found that it is VERY sensitive to salts (NaCl). We used 0.5 M NaCl in our buffer recently, and that high of a salt concentration with Tris significantly effected our results. We were hoping to dissolve recombinant TAGLN2 in a low salt buffer, preferably 5 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0 and 0.2 mM CaCl2. Would this be possible for you to help us with? Our lab is not very familiar with dialyzing proteins. We appreciate your help and look forward to your favorable reply.

A:
This protein is almost ready and can be shipped today, however considering your request, we will try to change your desired buffer: 5 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0 and 0.2 mM CaCl2 through Dialysis.
But you didn't mention the content of the glycerol, do you have any special requirement for the glycerol?
In addition, you previously requested > 1 mg/mL as well as endotoxin removal and aseptic processing in the original order, probably we can't meet the demand for the concentration of 1 mg/mL ,
Do you accept a concentration of less than 1 mg/mL? If yes, what's the lowest concentration that you can accept?
Q:

I would like no glycerol, but if the lab is unable to do so 10% glycerol content. I think a concentration of 0.75 mg/mL is the absolute lowest.
Just make sure it is frozen on dry ice and we will keep it at -80 to ensure stability?

A:
Thanks for your additional question.
I have informed our R&D department to dialyze the protein to your specified buffer: 5mM Tris-HCl, 0.2mM CaCl2,pH8.0, glycerol content 10%.
We will try to provide the concentration of 0.75mg/ml, but it's not 100% guaranteed.
