Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition

Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shelf Life

Description

The αVβ6 integrin heterodimer plays a critical role in TGF-β activation and epithelial tissue remodeling, making it a key target in fibrosis and cancer biology. This cynomolgus macaque ortholog, spanning residues 31–993 of ITGAV and 22–709 of ITGB6, demonstrates quantified binding to TGF-β1 with an EC50 of 8.9–14.8 ng/mL and to an anti-ITGB6 antibody with an EC50 of 4.3–5.1 ng/mL in functional ELISA, confirming proper heterodimer assembly and ligand recognition. These validated interactions support its use in integrin-ligand binding studies, antibody development and epitope mapping, and cell adhesion assays investigating αVβ6-mediated signaling in tumor metastasis or fibrotic disease models. Mammalian expression ensures native glycosylation and disulfide bonding essential for integrin function, while purity exceeding 95% and endotoxin below 1.0 EU/μg meet the stringent criteria required for cell-based functional assays and in vitro pharmacology studies.
