Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.

Target Background

Function
Docking protein which plays a central coordinating role for tyrosine kinase-based signaling related to cell adhesion. Implicated in induction of cell migration and cell branching. Involved in the BCAR3-mediated inhibition of TGFB signaling.
Gene References into Functions

  2. Data suggest that the first LD motif (LD1; leucine-rich motif) of paxillin binds to the CCHD (C-terminal region of Cas family homology domain) of p130Cas/Bcar1 (in a 1:1 stoichiometry with Kd approximately 4.2 uM); p130Cas/Bcar1 CCHD is stabilized by forming complex with paxillin LD1; these studies utilized chicken paxillin and mouse p130Cas/Bcar1.
