Target Background

Function
Heterotrimeric G protein-coupled receptor for endocannabinoid 2-arachidonoylglycerol mediating inhibition of adenylate cyclase. May function in inflammatory response, nociceptive transmission and bone homeostasis.
Gene References into Functions

The blockade of cannabinoid receptor type 2 (CB2) by AM630 during respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection enhances the influx of bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) cells and production of cytokines/ chemokines while exaggerating lung pathology.
