Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose.
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Small GTPase. Negatively regulates the transcription regulation activity of the APBB1/FE65-APP complex via its interaction with APBB1/FE65.
Gene References into Functions
  1. These results suggest that Dexras1 is a critical mediator of the IGF-1 signal to activate MAPK, linking glucocorticoid signaling to IGF-1 signaling in adipogenesis. PMID: 27345868
  2. These findings suggest that RASD1 acts as a novel signaling molecule and plays an important role in regulating dynamic uterine remodeling during the estrous cycle in the uterus. PMID: 28188843
  3. This study demonstrated that provide unprecedented evidence for a selective epigenetic up-regulation of Dexras 1 gene expression in the striatum of EAE mice. PMID: 27138096
  4. RASD1 is a novel factor in Metaphase I-Metaphase II oocyte transition and may be involved in regulating the progression of cytokinesis and spindle formation PMID: 27997888
  5. Results suggest a potential role for Dexras1 in modulating a selective subset of psychiatric symptoms, possibly via its interaction with NMDARs and/or other disease-related binding-partners PMID: 26946266
  6. two mechanisms of Rasd1 induction in the hypothalamus, were identified. PMID: 26739966
  7. Lysosomal iron modulates NMDA receptor-mediated excitation via small GTPase, Dexras1 PMID: 27080392
  8. Dexras1 mediates adipogenesis and diet-induced obesity. PMID: 24297897
  9. Dexras1 is involved in the circadian clock regulation PMID: 23703963
  10. Dexras1 appears to mediate N-methylaspartate (NMDA)-elicited neurotoxicity via nitric oxide and iron influx. PMID: 23426685
  11. These results indicate that the absence of Dexras1 sensitizes the suprachiasmatic nucleus to perturbations resulting from restricted feeding. PMID: 22928915
  12. Data suggest that Dexras1 regulates multiple photic and nonphotic signal-transduction pathways, thereby playing an essential role modulating species-specific characteristics of circadian entrainment. PMID: 21834641
  13. Rasd1 modulates endogenous renin gene expression by interacting with Ear2. PMID: 21247419
  14. the Dexamethasone-induced RAS protein 1 (Dexras1) gene is a cycling gene in the suprachiasmatic nucleus PMID: 12573527
  15. Genetic deletion of Dexras1 reduces photic entrainment by eliminating a pertussis-sensitive circadian response to NMDA. Mechanistically, Dexras1 couples NMDA and light input to Gi/o and ERK activation. In PMID: 15339652
  16. dexras1 was found to change rhythmically in hypothalamic and extra-hypothalamic brain regions reaching peak levels early in the light phase. PMID: 16517089
  17. We demonstrate that Rasd1 mRNA is expressed in mouse lymph node cells in response to inhibitory stimuli. Rasd1 mRNA is present at low levels in freshly isol. cells, but it is up-regulated in culture and is expressed in cells whose proliferation is blocked PMID: 17369188
