Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
The H2 subclass of histamine receptors mediates gastric acid secretion. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylyl cyclase.
Gene References into Functions
  1. The deliberate activation of H2 R, or its downstream signaling molecules, may represent a novel therapeutic target for chronic lung inflammatory diseases, especially when CD1d-mediated presentation of lipid antigens to iNKT cells is contributing to the pathology. PMID: 28618071
  2. Ability of probiotic L. reuteri to suppress colitis depends on the presence of a bacterial histidine decarboxylase gene(s) in the intestinal microbiome, consumption of a histidine-containing diet, and signaling via the histamine H2 receptor (H2R). PMID: 26670383
  3. required for IL-6 and IL-17 mucosal responses to intestinal histamine-secreting microbes PMID: 24954261
  4. histamine facilitates memory retention of inhibitory avoidance in mice, non-linearly by H2 receptor activation PMID: 24161893
  5. Data show that experimental allergic encephalomyelitis (EAE) severity and in histamine H2 receptor (H2RKO) mice expressing H2R exclusively in T cells become equal to those in wild-type B6 mice only when pertussis toxin is used to elicit disease. PMID: 24371118
  6. H2R activation exaggerates myocardial I/R injury by promoting myocardial mitochondrial dysfunction and by increasing cardiac vascular endothelial permeability. PMID: 23467745
  7. Data suggest histamine stimulates proliferation of Leydig tumor cells via activation of HRH2 and a transient increase in intracellular cAMP levels. Normal/immature Leydig cells and progenitor Leydig cells exhibit very low levels of HDC expression. PMID: 23077168
  8. Histamine reduced the alpha-CD3-induced interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma) production of CD4+ cells via the histamine H-receptor. PMID: 22280069
  9. Data suggest that a combined pharmacological targeting of histamine H(1) and H(4) receptors could be taken into consideration as an option for the prevention of asthma and maybe other allergic diseases. PMID: 22272324
  10. A previously unidentified role for H2R establishes a synergy between endogenous histamine and interleukin (IL)-4 that supports eosinophilic recruitment to the lung. PMID: 22156496
  11. Histamine receptor 2 is not required for K/BxN serum-induced arthritis. PMID: 19762454
  12. histamine synthesis in tumor tissues suppresses local tumor immunity via the H(2) receptors PMID: 12372415
  13. histamine H(2)-receptor deficient mice developed gastric pathophysiological changes resembling Menetrier's disease for up to 17 months of observation PMID: 12686732
  14. Results suggest that histamine signaling through the histamine H(2) but not the H(1) receptor is important for controlling Y. enterocolitica infection within the Peyer's patches and mesenteric lymph nodes of mice. PMID: 16717182
  15. our results demonstrate that H2 receptors is involved in learning and memory processes for which the frontal cortex, amygdala and hippocampus interact. PMID: 17145090
  16. Histamine H2 receptors are upregulated during bone marrow regeneration in mice. PMID: 17420012
  17. HR2 immunoreactivity was observed on the processes and cell bodies of the primary glial cells of the mammalian retina, the Muller cells. PMID: 19015005
  18. decreasing expression on the mast cells within skin lesions of MRL/lpr mice PMID: 19162242
  19. Histamine has a direct suppressive effect on intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes-derived cytokines via histamine H(2)receptor, which would have a crucial role in suppression of local immunoregulation in the intestinal epithelium PMID: 19277450
