Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
May play some important roles in inflammatory responses. Up-regulates IL-6 and TNF-alpha and induces apoptosis.
Gene References into Functions
  1. Data, including data from studies using knockout mice, suggest that interleukin-19 suppresses hapten-dependent skin inflammation in elicitation phase of contact hypersensitivity. PMID: 29386478
  2. Attenuated colitis in IL-19-deficient animals was associated with reduced numbers of IL-6-producing macrophages in the inflamed colonic lamina propria. Microbial-driven expression of IL-19 by intestinal macrophages may contribute to the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease. PMID: 28864472
  3. IL-19 can promote angiogenesis in the absence of hypoxia by at least two distinct mechanisms: 1) direct effects on vascular cells and 2) indirect effects by stimulation of macrophages. PMID: 27053520
  4. IL-19 plays an anti-inflammatory role in the Th2-mediated colitis model. PMID: 27942772
  5. microglia may self-limit their inflammatory response by producing the negative regulator IL-19. PMID: 25794104
  6. Lack of IL-19 exacerbates intimal hyperplasia PMID: 24814101
  7. we delineate the detailed molecular pathway for IL-4 up-regulation of IL-19 in keratinocytes, which may play an important role in AD pathogenesis. PMID: 24943510
  8. Il-19 expression is increased in astrocytes following bacterial challenge. PMID: 24677051
  9. IL-19 is important for cutaneous wound healing because it upregulates KGF expression. PMID: 23582717
  10. IL-19 is a potent inhibitor of experimental atherosclerosis. PMID: 23950143
  11. IL-19 is pivotal in the pathogenesis of breast cancer. PMID: 22186257
  12. endogenous IL-19 is a constituent of the regulome that controls both processes in vivo PMID: 22110701
  13. IL-19 drives pathogenic innate immune responses in the colon. PMID: 19834971
  14. In a dust mite-induced murine model of asthma, the IL-19 level in asthmatic BALB/cJ mice is twice that of healthy control mice. PMID: 15557163
