Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Receptor for extracellular UTP > ADP = 2-methylthio-ATP > ADP-beta-S > ATP = ATP-gamma-S. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Functionally coupled to phospholipase C.
Gene References into Functions
  1. Prostaglandin E2 glyceryl ester is an endogenous agonist of the nucleotide receptor P2Y6. PMID: 28539604
  2. Results demonstrated that P2Y6 signaled through Ca(2+) influx and RhoA/ROCK to reorganize cytoskeleton and promote migration in myoblasts. PMID: 28815725
  3. the P2Y6 receptor in the central nervous system, dorsal root ganglion, or both is involved in inhibition of bladder afferent signalling or sensitivity in the pontine micturition centre and that the receptor in the detrusor may be implicated in facilitation to sustain bladder contraction force. PMID: 28396595
  4. The present study shows that sustained activation of P2Y6R may contribute to intestinal tumorigenesis by blocking the apoptotic process and by contributing to chemoresistance, a substantial concern in the treatment of patients with CRC. PMID: 29454075
  5. P2Y6 contributes to allergic airway inflammation and remodeling by enhancing the functions of mast cells in ovalbumin-induced asthmatic mice PMID: 27590515
  6. these findings suggest that the P2Y6 receptor plays a critical role in mediating microglial phagocytosis in radiation-induced brain injury. PMID: 26099306
  7. P2Y6 UDP receptor, the most expressed P2Y receptor in mouse resistance arteries, is required for maintaining proper arterial tone. PMID: 27255725
  8. The present study identifies mouse P2Y6 receptor as a regulator of cardiac development and cardiomyocyte function. P2Y6 receptor could constitute a therapeutic target to regulate cardiac hypertrophy. PMID: 27231349
  9. These results suggest that increased formation of AT1R-P2Y6R heterodimers with age may increase the likelihood of hypertension induced by Ang II. PMID: 26787451
  10. Study demonstrates that AgRP neurons express the purinergic receptor 6 (P2Y6), which is activated by uridine-diphosphate (UDP). In vivo, UDP induces ERK phosphorylation and cFos expression in AgRP neurons and promotes action potential firing of these neurons in brain slice recordings. PMID: 26359991
  11. P2Y(6) receptor augments pro-inflammatory responses in macrophages PMID: 25360548
  12. The results demonstrate the important role of P2Y6 as a danger signal in antiviral immune responses. PMID: 25261483
  13. these data outline a novel role for the P2Y6 receptor in the induction of CXCL8/IL-8 production and barrier dysfunction in response to C. difficile toxin exposure and may provide a new therapeutic target for the treatment of CDI. PMID: 24278446
  14. P2Y6 deficiency limits atherosclerosis and plaque inflammation in mice. PMID: 25104800
  15. P2Y(6) receptor signaling pathway may be a potential therapeutic target for MSU-associated inflammatory diseases, such as tophaceous gout. PMID: 22102722
  16. P2Y(6) receptor may play an important role in the regulation of bone cell function in vivo. PMID: 21828185
  17. P2Y6 receptors protect the lung against exuberant allergen-induced pulmonary inflammation by inhibiting the activation of effector T cells. PMID: 21724990
  18. our studies demonstrate that P2Y(6) receptor could be a novel mediator in upregulating innate immune response against the invaded pathogens through recruiting monocytes/macrophages PMID: 21444765
