Description

Yeast-expressed Recombinant Mouse Serum amyloid A-3 protein (Saa3) is a full Length of mature protein having an N-terminal 6xHis tag. It contains 20-122aa of mouse Saa3 and has a calculated molecular mass of 13.8 kDa. This recombinant Saa3 protein got purified by SDS-PAGE and reached up to 90% in purity. Available from stock, these Saa3 proteins will reach your laboratory table faster. The Saa3 protein can be used as an antigen to produce the mouse monoclonal antibodies and rabbit polyclonal antibodies.

Saa3 is often found in inflammatory tissues in mice, including adipocytes, epithelial cells, endothelial cells, and other extrahepatic cells. Unique among the four SAAs, Saa3 does not involve in the constitution of high-density lipoprotein. Mouse Saa3 attracts circulating tumor cells and increases hyperpermeability in the lungs, thus promoting tumor metastasis. Also, mSaa3/TLR4/MD-2 interaction plays a protective role in the innate immune system.

Very nice to receive your inquiry. We haven't validated the activity of this protein. However, there is literature showing that prokaryotic expression of this protein has immunological activity.

The protein we produce is mature and full-length which has complete sequence. The proteins of both expression systems are expressed in soluble form and should have activity in theory.
