Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Receptor for the C-type natriuretic peptide NPPC/CNP hormone. Has guanylate cyclase activity upon binding of its ligand. May play a role in the regulation of skeletal growth.
Gene References into Functions
  1. Suppression of Npr1, not Npr2 gene function induces hypertrophic growth in cardiomyocytes in vitro. PMID: 28743500
  2. Dephosphorylation and inactivation of NPR2 guanylyl cyclase in granulosa cells contributes to the luteinizing hormone-induced decrease in cGMP that causes resumption of meiosis in rat oocytes. PMID: 25183874
  3. These data indicate common and distinct properties of particulate guanylyl cyclase receptors in somatotropes. PMID: 24352806
  4. Provide direct evidence for the presence and synthesis of ANP and its receptors in both neuronal and non-neuronal cells within the cochlear spiral ganglion. PMID: 24333928
  5. Six phosphorylation sites were identified in rat GC-B (S513, T516, S518, S523, S526, and T529), and all six sites were also identified in human GC-B. PMID: 20977274
  6. At postnatal day 1, the vast majority of GC-B (but not GC-A) molecules contain additionally an O-linked carbohydrate modification of about 1 kDa in mass and a further modification of similar size which is resistant to enzymatic removal. PMID: 20880010
  7. Results show that VILIP-1 regulates the cell surface localization of natriuretic peptide receptor B. PMID: 20079378
  8. Study revealed that GC-B predominates in the developing and GC-A in the adult brain, with regional differences each between cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and brain stem. PMID: 19837875
  9. investigated the localization and function of the CNP receptor NPR-B (or GC-B) in the adult rat heart ventricle; found the expression of GC-B is predominantly in nonmyocytes. PMID: 12003819
  10. hyperosmotic and lysophosphatidic acid-dependent inhibition of NPRB is mediated by calcium-dependent phosphorylation PMID: 15371450
  11. CNP is capable of autoregulating the expression of its cognate receptor, type B natriuretic peptide receptor. PMID: 16109786
  12. The data suggest that pressure overload is accompanied by upregulation of not only ANP and BNP but also their receptors NPR-A and NPR-C in the left ventricle. PMID: 16272201
  13. Deregulation of NPR-2 function in astrocytes by ammonia may contribute to neurophysiological symptoms of hyperammonemia. PMID: 17629948
