Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Downstream regulator in the Wnt/Frizzled-signaling pathway. Associated with cell survival. Adheres to skin and melanoma fibroblasts. In vitro binding to skin fibroblasts occurs through the proteoglycans, decorin and biglycan.
Gene References into Functions
  1. WISP1 may be a potential inducer of airway smooth muscle proliferation and hypertrophy in asthma. The pro-remodeling effect of WISP1 is likely due to be involved in PI3K-GSK3beta-dependent noncanonical TGF-beta signaling. PMID: 26242865
  2. Thymosin beta4 targets Wnt/WISP-1 signaling to protect against Ang II-induced cardiomyocyte growth. PMID: 26627308
  3. initiate and perpetuate the pathological remodeling of asthma by inducing fibroblast proliferation and ECM deposition PMID: 23845395
  4. these results showed the upregulation of WISP-1 in both in vitro and in vivo liver fibrosis models, and WISP-1 stimulated the proliferation of HSCs in vitro. PMID: 24600972
  5. Results suggest that CCN4 is involved in the migration and proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells. Inhibition of CCN4 may provide a promising strategy for the prevention of restenosis after vascular interventions. PMID: 23807044
  6. WISP1/CCN4 autoregulates its expression through the promotion of beta-catenin activity and may employ beta-catenin to have a limited control over autophagy. PMID: 22475393
  7. we demonstrate that WISP1 is present in primary hippocampal neurons during oxidant stress PMID: 22272766
  8. Ang-II induced cardiomyocyte hypertrophy is mediated through AT1, NOX2 and the induction of WISP1, and may involve the direct interaction of AT1 with NOX2. PMID: 21376054
  9. WISP-1 stimulates cardiomyocyte hypertrophy, fibroblast proliferation, and ECM expression in vitro. These results suggest that WISP-1 may play a critical role in post-myocardial infarction remodeling. PMID: 17616748
