We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Recombination of a plasmid encoding the Toxoplasma gondii PRF protein (2-163aa) is the first step during the production the recombinant Toxoplasma gondii PRF protein. The constructed plasmid is introduced into e.coli cells. e.coli cells that can survive in the presence of a specific antibiotic are selected to be cultured for the induction of protein expression. The protein is equipped with a N-terminal 6xHis tag. After expression, affinity purification is used to isolate and purify the recombinant Toxoplasma gondii PRF protein from the cell lysate. Denaturing SDS-PAGE is then applied to resolve the resulting recombinant Toxoplasma gondii PRF protein. Its purity exceeds 90%.
