Description

OLIG2 (Oligodendrocyte Lineage Transcription Factor 2) is a basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor that plays a central role in oligodendrocyte development and CNS myelination. Beyond its developmental functions, OLIG2 has emerged as a critical marker in neuro-oncology research, where its expression patterns help distinguish gliomas from other brain tumor types and provide insights into tumor cell lineage and behavior.

This recombinant monoclonal antibody, clone 4A8, offers the reproducibility and consistency that demanding neuroscience research requires.
