Description

The SOX4 antibody is raised in rabbits immunized with the recombinant human SOX4 (1-60AA). It is available as an unconjugated IgG. And it underwent protein G purification and got a purity of 95%+. This SOX4 antibody only reacts with human SOX4 protein and can be used to detect the SOX4 protein in ELISA, WB, and IHC applications. The target protein SOX4 is a transcription factor in the SRY (sex-determining region Y) family and plays important roles in many developmental processes, including nervous system development and endocrine islet formation.

Target Background

Function
Transcriptional activator that binds with high affinity to the T-cell enhancer motif 5'-AACAAAG-3' motif. Required for IL17A-producing Vgamma2-positive gamma-delta T-cell maturation and development, via binding to regulator loci of RORC to modulate expression.
