Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of human IL-15 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

This ELISA kit provides quantitative measurement of interleukin-15 (IL-15) in human serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates, supporting research into its roles in NK cell development, CD8+ T cell homeostasis, and inflammatory signaling. Because IL-15 circulates at exceptionally low concentrations and is often bound to IL-15Rα in trans-presentation complexes, accurate quantification demands both high sensitivity and carefully validated detection parameters.
Detection Range: The 3.12–200 pg/mL range aligns with reported circulating IL-15 levels in healthy individuals (typically <10 pg/mL) through elevated concentrations observed in autoimmune flares, transplant rejection, and certain lymphoproliferative disorders, minimizing the need for sample dilution or concentration under most conditions.
Sensitivity: At 1.56 pg/mL, the kit detects IL-15 at the sub-physiological baseline levels found in healthy donor plasma and in conditioned media from unstimulated dendritic cells or monocytes, where IL-15 secretion is minimal yet biologically meaningful.
Sample Compatibility: Validation across serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates enables researchers to correlate systemic IL-15 levels with local tissue expression — critical for studying mucosal immunity, tumor microenvironment signaling, or organ-specific inflammation.
Assay Efficiency: The 1–5 hour protocol requiring only 50–100 µL accommodates limited clinical specimens and small-volume samples from sorted immune cell cultures.
This kit is well suited for studies in celiac disease pathogenesis, NK cell immunotherapy development, and inflammatory bowel disease biomarker profiling.
