Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of human IL-33 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

This ELISA kit provides quantitative measurement of human interleukin-33 (IL-33) in biological samples, supporting research into this IL-1 family alarmin's role in type 2 immunity, tissue damage signaling, and inflammatory disease. Because IL-33 is released rapidly from barrier tissues upon cellular stress or necrosis and circulates at low picomolar concentrations, detecting it demands an assay calibrated to its narrow physiological window.
Detection Range: The 3.12–200 pg/mL range aligns with reported serum IL-33 levels in healthy individuals (often below 10 pg/mL) and the elevated concentrations observed in asthma exacerbations, heart failure, and allergic inflammation, typically reducing the need for sample dilution or concentration steps.
Sensitivity: At 1.56 pg/mL, the assay detects IL-33 in low-abundance contexts such as baseline healthy serum, early-phase allergen challenge samples, and dilute cell culture supernatants from epithelial or mast cell stimulation experiments where release is transient.
Sample Compatibility: Validation across serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants enables researchers to correlate circulating IL-33 levels in patient cohorts with mechanistic in vitro studies of epithelial alarmin release and immune cell activation within a single assay platform.
Assay Efficiency: A 50–100 µL sample requirement and 1–5 hour protocol accommodate limited-volume clinical specimens and time-sensitive experiments tracking IL-33 kinetics after acute tissue injury.
This kit is well suited for studies in allergic airway disease, cardiac fibrosis, and helminth infection immunity.
Sample type: Cell culture supernatant
Sample species: Human
Sample dilution: No dilution
Review: I used the CSB-E13000h-IS to detect the serum of normal mice and drug-treated mice. The standard curve OD values are 1.6932, 0.9838, 0.6362.... The sample OD value is around 0.8. The product has good stability and all indicators are within reasonable ranges.
