Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of human MMP-13 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

Matrix metallopeptidase 13 (MMP-13), also known as collagenase 3, is a zinc-dependent endopeptidase that plays an important role in extracellular matrix remodeling and tissue homeostasis. This enzyme shows high specificity for type II collagen and is particularly important in cartilage degradation processes. MMP-13 expression is tightly regulated and becomes elevated during pathological conditions involving tissue destruction and remodeling. The enzyme's activity is essential for normal developmental processes, wound healing, and bone remodeling. This makes it a significant target for research in musculoskeletal disorders and cancer metastasis.
The Human Matrix metalloproteinase 13,MMP-13 ELISA kit (CSB-E04674h) uses a quantitative sandwich measurement principle for detecting human MMP13 in serum, cell culture supernates, urine, and tissue homogenates. The assay provides a detection range of 0.156 ng/mL to 10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.039 ng/mL. The protocol requires 50-100 μL sample volume and can be completed within 1-5 hours, with detection performed at 450 nm wavelength.
