Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of human HIF-2 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

The human hypoxia-inducible factor 2 (HIF-2) ELISA Kit is used to quantitatively measure human HIF-2 levels in serum, plasma, cell lysates, or tissue homogenates. It performs well in important characteristics, including sensitivity and specificity. This assay is based on the sandwich ELISA mechanism and enzyme-substrate chromogenic reaction. The solution color develops proportionally to the amount of HIF-2 in the sample. And the intensity of the color can be measured at 450 nm via a microplate reader.
HIF-2, also known as EPAS1, is essential in maintaining proper micronutrient balance, the inflammatory response, and the regenerative and proliferative capacity of the intestine after an acute injury. It also plays important role in digestive system cancers and promotes the transcription of genes involved in cell proliferation, angiogenesis and apoptosis, metabolism, as well as metastasis and resistance to chemotherapy. However, chronic activation of HIF-2 results in an enhanced proinflammatory response, intestinal injury, and colorectal cancer.
