Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of human LUM in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

Lumican is a small leucine-rich proteoglycan that plays an important role in extracellular matrix organization and collagen fibril assembly. This protein is predominantly found in the cornea, skin, and other connective tissues, where it regulates collagen diameter and spacing to maintain tissue transparency and structural integrity. Lumican has been implicated in various physiological processes including wound healing, tissue repair, and cellular migration. This makes it an important biomarker for studying connective tissue disorders and inflammatory conditions.
The Human lumican ELISA Kit (CSB-E09797h) uses a quantitative sandwich measurement principle for detecting lumican in serum, urine, and cell culture supernatants. This assay offers a detection range of 0.625 ng/mL to 40 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.156 ng/mL. The protocol requires 50-100 μL sample volume and can be completed within 1-5 hours. Detection is performed at 450 nm wavelength.
