Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of mouse IL-7 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

This Mouse IL-7 ELISA Kit provides quantitative measurement of interleukin-7 in Mus musculus samples, supporting research into lymphocyte development, homeostatic proliferation, and T cell reconstitution. Because IL-7 is a stromal-derived cytokine present at low concentrations that exerts potent effects on lymphopoiesis, accurate quantification across both systemic and tissue-level compartments is essential for interpreting immune homeostasis studies.
Detection Range: The 31.25–2000 pg/mL range captures IL-7 levels across normal murine serum (typically low pg/mL range) and elevated concentrations seen during lymphopenic states, irradiation-induced reconstitution, or conditional knockout models. Samples from inflamed tissues may require dilution, while steady-state serum can often be assayed neat.
Sensitivity: At 7.81 pg/mL, the kit detects the constitutively low circulating IL-7 characteristic of lymphoreplete mice, enabling researchers to resolve subtle changes in bioavailability that inversely correlate with peripheral T cell numbers.
Sample Compatibility: Validation across serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates allows simultaneous assessment of systemic IL-7 availability and local production in thymus, bone marrow, or lymph node stroma within a single experimental framework.
Assay Efficiency: Requiring only 50–100 µL per well and 1–5 hours to complete, the kit accommodates limited-volume bleeds from longitudinal mouse studies and same-day data acquisition from time-course experiments.
This kit is directly applicable to studies of thymic regeneration, lymphopenia-induced proliferation, and bone marrow transplant immune reconstitution.
