This Rat ANGPT1 ELISA Kit was designed for the quantitative measurement of Rat ANGPT1 protein in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates. It is a Sandwich ELISA kit, its detection range is 6.25 ng/mL-400 ng/mL and the sensitivity is 1.56 ng/mL.

Linearity
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of rat ANG-1 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

Recovery

Binds and activates TIE2 receptor by inducing its tyrosine phosphorylation. Implicated in endothelial developmental processes later and distinct from that of VEGF. Appears to play a crucial role in mediating reciprocal interactions between the endothelium and surrounding matrix and mesenchyme. Mediates blood vessel maturation/stability. It may play an important role in the heart early development.
