ANGPT1

Angiopoietin-1 (ANGPT1), commonly known as ANG1, is a secreted glycoprotein of the angiopoietin family. It selectively binds the Tie2 receptor on endothelial cells, activating downstream pathways like PI3K/Akt and MAPK. This interaction promotes vascular maturation, enhances endothelial cell survival, and stabilizes blood vessels by recruiting pericytes, thus reducing vascular permeability.
Dysregulation of ANGPT1 links to cardiovascular diseases (e.g., atherosclerosis), tumor angiogenesis, and diabetic retinopathy. Drug development targets the ANGPT1-Tie2 axis: recombinant ANGPT1 variants and Tie2 agonists are in preclinical/early clinical stages to treat ischemic conditions and restore vascular integrity in pathological states.

Overlay Peak curve showing jurkat cells stained with CSB-RA622996MA1HU (red line) at 1:100. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde and permeated by 0.2% TritonX-100 for 10min. Then 10% normal goat serum to block non-specific protein-protein interactions followed by the antibody (1ug/1*10⁶cells) for 45min at 4℃. The secondary antibody used was Fluorescein (FITC) AffiniPure Goat Anti-Human IgG, Fcγ fragment specific at 1:200 dilution for 35 min at 4℃.Control antibody (green line) was human IgG1 (1ug/1*10⁶cells) used under the same conditions. Acquisition of >10,000 events was performed.
